Exploitation/commercialisation of research results

Focus on Exploitation and Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI)

The exploitation of research results became significant in the Horizon 2020 projects and will gain even bigger role in the upcoming Horizon Europe projects. The earlier EU projects and project proposals (e.g. FP7) did not claim plan for the exploitation of research results. However, the researchers require help in the field of exploitation, dissemination and business utilization of their research results. In H2020 projects, applicants were obligated to describe a credible path to deliver their innovation to the market. In Horizon Europe projects the business impact and the social impact will gain even more relevance. As RRI is an approach, highly supported by the EU, that takes into consideration the societal and environmental impact of a project, it should be also taken into account when preparing an EU co-funded proposal. Our expert team has good standing experience on the field of exploitation and RRI and willing to provide services as a project partner,  subcontractor or as an external service provider.

LC Innoconsult as a project partner for exploitation

LC Innoconsult has been providing complex innovation management services for over 20 years now, primarily including knowledge and technology transfer services, supplemented by our consulting service related to intellectual property rights. We create a bridge between science and the business world by exploring commercialisation opportunities following the successful closure of the project (e.g. establishing spin-off company, technology transfer). We gained our experience in the field of exploitation of project results through contribution in the implementation of more than twenty-five FP7 projects, in which dr. Péter Mogyorósi was a member of the expert team, in the last 4 years. Our consultants possess advanced skills and competences in the exploitation of research results, technology transfer, RRI (Responsible Research and Innovation), IPR management and business planning as well as capacity-building. We set up the following work packages that contains our special services for consortiums with H2020 projects.
